ABOUT THE ESTANCIA

La Rosita is a working cattle estancia that has remained in our family for generations. Life here still revolves around horses, cattle and the daily work of the estancia.

 

The estancia extends across 2,000 hectares of grasslands, lagoons and native forests. Different fields are connected by horseback trails. Gauchos continue to work horseback every day.  Cattle breeding still shapes much of daily life here. Horses remain part of everyday life.

Over time, generations of family, gauchos and friends have all left part of their lives here. Some learned to ride at La Rosita. Some spent their entire working lives on this land. Others simply continue returning.
