THE ARGENTINE ESTANCIA-TO-ESTANCIA RIDE
— The Gaucho Drovers at a Gallop —

A 6-day journey where we ride on horseback from one ranch to the next, lodging at 5 different Argentine Estancias.

Every morning, we saddle up at our current location and travel entirely on horseback until we reach our next ranch. Driving a troop of horses alongside the gauchos of Estancia La Rosita. Enjoy riding across wide-open spaces, with long canters and untouched wildlife.

Each night, you will arrive at a new, authentic Argentine family ranch house featuring excellent gastronomy, Argentine wines, and the comfort you deserve.

A true experience for passionate riders seeking real riding life in a pure, natural environment.

Who Will You Be Riding With?

  • Riding Level & Group Size: You will join other riders of a similar level. Being able to canter comfortably without any issues is a strict requirement. Regular groups are small, usually consisting of 6 to 8 riders (the maximum is 9). The minimum age for regular dates is 16.

  • Your Hosts & Guides: Your main guide will be Fernando Landgraf—owner of Estancia La Rosita, who created the estancia-to-estancia ride in Argentina, and organizer of the experience—who will lead the group alongside his gauchos.

Estancia La Rosita has been welcoming international riders since 1992, and Fernando has been organizing long trail rides since 2001. Upon arriving at each new Estancia, the owners themselves will be your hosts to share their lifestyle and ensure you are perfectly comfortable.

About the Region & Riding Conditions

The terrain is completely surrounded by nature, featuring diverse landscapes such as lagoons, forests, pampas, marshes, rivers, and dunes.

The center of the Argentine Mesopotamia is a unique region where gauchos proudly keep their traditions alive. You will share this journey with real gauchos and a bilingual guide as your main host.

When heritage becomes inspiration, it becomes unique.

Born in loving memory of the historic cattle drives, when our grandfather José Luis Cometta’s gauchos used to bring cattle from his various Estancias to La Rosita for the annual family auction.

Others may try to replicate it, but here, you will be riding the truth.
