LIFE ON HORSEBACK

The Heart of La Rosita

A true working estancia, where our lives are lived on horseback.

To ride at La Rosita means total freedom. There are no lines, no trail restrictions, and no limits on time or distance. Every single day offers a completely new landscape to explore.

Whether you are a seasoned rider looking for long, fast canters or someone who has never touched a saddle before, you belong here. This is not a tourist excursion—this is learning to live the true rhythm of the Argentine countryside.

The Elements of Your Journey

Think of the descriptions below not as rigid, separate tours, but as the raw ingredients of your stay. We constantly mix, blend, and reshape them. Consider this a glimpse of what is possible, tailored entirely to your personal pace, preferences, and whatever you feel like exploring that day.

Pampa & Afforestation

The thrill of contrasts. One moment you are riding across the infinite expanses of the pampa, gazing at a horizon that never ends. The next, you turn into our dense forests where the horizon vanishes, opening up perfect, tree-lined avenues made for long, exhilarating canters.

Native Forest & Boliche de Campo

A ride with a reward. This journey combines the rhythm of steady paces with long galopes through pristine, wild woodlands (monte silvestre). As the sun begins to set, the ride ends exactly where it should: at a traditional local pulpería (country bar) for a cold beer among friends.

Safari in the Wetlands

Riding alongside wildlife. A two-and-a-half-hour immersion into Corrientes’ natural marshlands. Moving quietly through the wetlands, you will ride right into the habitat of capybaras, yacarés, and marsh deer. It is a front-row seat to Argentina’s wild nature, experienced from the saddle.

Adventure in the Lagoons

For those who don't mind getting wet. When we feel a bit adventurous, we combine fast canters along the edges of the lagoons with directly crossing right through them. It’s pure, unfiltered fun.

Gathering the Herd

Every now and then, we need to round up large groups of horses. Watching over 130 horses running completely free across the plains—and being the one driving them—is simply breathtaking.

Queres galopar....?

Chau . . . Me voy al Pueblo

Riding to town. You can spend days out here without seeing a single trace of civilization, but connecting with our local town is a beautiful experience. We ride all the way into Esquina, enjoy lunch right by the river, rest for a bit on the beach, and then take a completely different trail back to the peace of the campo.

Swimming with Horses:

On hot summer days, we don't think twice. We take the horses straight into the deep water. Feeling a horse swim beneath you is a feeling that stays with you forever

The Full Moon Ride

A rare privilege. On full moon nights, the countryside transforms. The moonlight reflects completely on the still lagoons, and the wildlife becomes alive in the dark. Going out for a night ride under the stars is an unforgettable, almost mystical experience.

Luna llena

Loma Sandia

The perfect balance. A ride that masterfully blends steady walking paces with moments of pure speed. It takes you through gallery forests before bursting out into wide-open spaces, letting the wind hit your face at a full galope.
