THE LAPACHO (the pink tree you see up here, always blooms before the rest.

A GUARANI LEGEND TELLS that TUPÁ (“God”) gathered all the trees and asked which of them would be capable of sacrificing themselves to beautify the sad and desolate winter. Bravely, the Lapacho accepted the mission! Since then, this tree blooms before all the others, to give us hope at the end of winter.

IN ORDER TO FLOURISH DURING TIMES OF SCARCITY, the Lapacho stores the necessary energy during the growing season and loses all its leaves in winter.

It also has a shorter and more intense blooming period. When the rest of the trees blossom, the Lapacho has almost no flowers left.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH LAPACHO, EVERY YEAR YOU REMIND US THAT...

- Sacrifice bears flowers at the end of the process.

- Diversity makes the world a more beautiful place.

- Those who beautify our lives and give us hope should be valued .

- We should not be afraid to be different, especially with good intentions.

- We should accept the challenges in our lives; they can make us flourish, bring

joy and beautify our surroundings!
