HORSEBACK RIDING AT ESTANCIA LA ROSITA

We ​like to ride & horses as much as you maybe do.

At la rosita, you will be able to ride as much as you want . No limits.
​​
Experience,beginners or intermediate riders will have rides and horses according to them.
​​
All rides are tailor made, matching your preferences. Not only about horses, also landscapes, speed, duration, etc. Etc.
No Limits in amount of Riding during your holidays.
CATTLE WORK ON HORSEBACK WITH THE GAUCHOS
La Rosita is a Real Estancia !!!
​This is not a show, this is the real thing.
The idea is that you can participate in all you want !!
​
While you collect or herd cattle & horses with the gauchos, You will understand the importance of the horses and the lassoo for the gauchos. There are 11 fields and each one have around 200 hectareas=500 acres)
​
The activities always change according the needs. But the point is that you can be part of this adventure ! !
If you like riding and hadn´t play polo before, let me tell you that you are missing something really amazing.
​
Stick and ball is always included for all our guests. and we will give you all needed equipment and the basics tips to enjoy it.
If 2 or more of our guests wants stick and ball, we finish the activity with an informal mini match.

We will provide you all you could need and also someone will assit you.

It is a nice way to relax and to enjoy the nature in another way.
Sometimes we go riding toghether to a logoon and one of us stays there for fishing while the others keep going on a ride. After the ride, we pick him up from the lagoon after a glorious sunset all together. Finally, everibody goes back on horseback to the Estancia.
​

La Rosita is located in a vast natural area with a diversity of habitats for the birds.
We will provide you binoculars, a check list and somebody from the Estancia will asisst you !!

You can do birding meanwhile we are riding, or we can bring you in a good location to do it and provide you all you need.

Brass Rings (sortija) Race:
Galloping on horseback you have to pull out a ring hanging from an arch.
Reins Competition at the barrel races A zig-zag race avoiding barrels approximately placed at 8 mts one from another
MISCELANIUS

Many things happend on a Real Estancia. And you can take place on it. A cow pass away, and we have to give milk to his calve every day, a horse is sick and need traetment daily, we catch a new cow for dairy and need to be trainee. Etc.. etc.. etc... Always new things happend on the Estancia.
HORSE TRAINNING
​
As a Real Argentinean Estancia each gaucho has a group of horses for trainne. when possible we start the trainee when they are around 1 year old, but sometimes they are free on the estancia until the age of 3... (Participation is limited by prioritazion of safety reasons)

- This is a Real Estancia from Argentina.

- It is open all year around. You can arrive on any date, and there is no minimun stays.
